Weber State Athletics Digital Media Internship
This page contains some of the projects that I created while interning for Weber State University's Athletics Marketing team. I am responsible for the creation of video and motion graphic promotions for the social media pages of Weber's sports teams.

Football Hype Video
A video meant to promote the football season and get fans hyped and wanting to attend the games. It includes footage from the games as well as the tailgate party called Fan Fest. This was posted to the teams Instagram story on October 30, 2021.

Football Hype Video (30 second version)
A shortened re-edit of the previous video. Posted to serve as a reminder of the upcoming game on November 6, 2021.

Volleyball Video Promo
A short video made to promote a volleyball game on Instagram and Facebook. I used footage taken of the team practicing. Posted on October 7, 2021.

Dec 2nd Basketball Hype Video
A promotion for a basketball game that was held on the 2nd of December 2021, and posted on the team's Instagram story. It is a highlight reel of the games that had been broadcast up to that point. Includes a 3D logo transition that I created in Adobe After Effects.

December 15th Basketball Hype Video
Another highlight reel promotion for the basketball game on the 15th of December 2021. This one include some newer clips than the previous video.

Motion Graphic Compilation
A compilation of most of the motion graphic promos that I created. Each one was was made to be posted on Facebook's or Instagram's story feature about one day before the game each one was made to promote. These were a cooperative effort between me and two of the graphic design interns where I would turn the graphics they created into animations.

MBB Intro Recut Compilation
To change up the kind of video content that we were posting, I was tasked to take the video that we used to introduce the basketball team at the start of the games and make re-edits of it to promote upcoming games through Instagram stories.

Re-edits of the Women's basketball intro video, likewise used to promote upcoming WBB games.

Kathy Miller Jersey Retirement
A video used to celebrate the accomplishments of former WSU athlete, Kathy Miller. The interviews were shot be me and another intern. I did all of the editing. We were on a short time limit making this but we were able to make something of high quality in less than a day. This was shown at the celebration.

Dick Motta Jersey Retirement
A video commemorating the achievements of former WSU and NBA coach, Dick Motta. The interviews were taken on zoom. This video was shown live during half time at the final home basketball game of the season on March 5 2022.

February 19 Hype Video
Yet another highlight video, this time utilizing footage that was personally captured by me and another intern. This was used to promote the game as well as raise awareness of a charity event that was happening at the same time.

A video using clips and promotional materials from the 2021 season to advertise the selling of season tickets for the 2022 season.

2022 Cheer Leading Video
A video created for the Weber State Cheer Squad. I worked directly with the coach of the team to shoot the video.

Student Section Destruction
This video was made to mainly showcase the student section of the stands at sporting events in order to encourage a higher turnout of WSU students at the events. This was posted to the wsudestruction instagram page.
